the dEsign Process

  • We’ll begin with a brief introductory call to learn more about your property, goals, lifestyle, and how you hope to use the space. This conversation helps us better understand your vision, answer initial questions, and determine whether we’re the right fit for your project.

  • We’ll meet at your property to walk through the space together, discuss opportunities and challenges, and better understand how you want the garden to feel and function. This visit allows us to experience the site firsthand, review priorities, and begin shaping a thoughtful direction for the project.

  • Following the site consultation, you’ll receive a customized proposal outlining the scope of work, project timeline, and associated fees. Once approved, we’ll move into site analysis and base mapping as we begin developing your design.

  • Once the design is complete, we’ll meet either virtually or on-site to walk through the proposed plan together. During this review, we’ll discuss the overall vision, planting palette, layout, materials, and any key design elements to ensure the space feels aligned with your goals.

This phase allows time for discussion, feedback, and any final refinements before moving into implementation.

The design process typically takes 4–8 weeks from contract signing through design review, depending on the scope of the project.

For clients moving forward with Full-Service Landscape Design, additional coordination and support services continue beyond this phase.

  • For clients moving forward with Full-Service Landscape Design, we continue to support the project beyond the design phase through ongoing coordination and implementation guidance.

Services may include contractor referrals and bid review, collaboration with installation teams, plant procurement and delivery coordination, material, furniture, and fixture selection support, on-site layout guidance, and ongoing design clarification throughout installation.

This phase is intended to help create a cohesive, well-executed landscape that remains true to the overall vision of the design while also easing the stress of coordinating multiple vendors, decisions, and phases of the project.

  • This may include customized seasonal care documentation, watering guidance, plant establishment recommendations, pruning and maintenance notes, or seasonal walk-through consultations to help support the long-term health and success of the garden.

While we do not provide landscape maintenance services directly, these resources are intended to help clients feel confident caring for and managing their outdoor spaces over time.

design philosophy:

There’s something powerful about a space that feels like it truly belongs to you.

Not just something beautiful but something that reflects how you live, how you gather, how you pause at the end of the day. A place that feels grounding and personal.

My path into landscape design started with a love for the way outdoor spaces can shape how we feel. I have a deep appreciation for spaces that invite you in, slow you down, and make you want to stay a little longer.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from generous mentors who helped me refine both my craft and my perspective. They taught me to pay attention to the details that often go unnoticed the way light moves through a space, how materials age, and how a garden evolves over time. That same care extends to how I approach sustainability, thoughtfully selecting materials, responding to the climate and character of this region, and designing spaces that are meant to thrive, not just exist.

That perspective shapes every project I take on.

This work isn’t just about designing landscapes; it’s about creating a sense of connection. To your home, to nature, and to the moments you want to experience there.

If you’re looking for a space that feels like an extension of you, I’d love to help bring it to life.

I’m ready when you are!
